Bulk QR code generator
How the bulk QR code generator works
Making QR codes one by one is fine for a single poster. For product labels, event tickets, table menus, asset tags or a mail merge, you need a bulk QR code generator. Paste a list and this tool encodes every line as its own QR code, names each file sensibly and packs them into a single ZIP download.
The codes are generated on our server by a QR encoder that follows the ISO/IEC 18004 standard: versions 1 to 40, all four error correction levels and automatic mask selection. Every code has been tested to scan with standard readers. Nothing depends on a third-party API, so your URLs are not sent anywhere else, and the codes are static: they never expire and keep working with no subscription.
Batch QR codes from Excel
The From CSV / Excel tab is for full control. Each row is filename, content, caption, for example table-01, https://example.com/menu?t=1, Table 1. In Excel or Google Sheets, put those three columns side by side, save or copy as CSV, and paste. The file name becomes the image name in the ZIP, and the caption can be printed under the code. A header row is detected and skipped automatically.

QR codes with text, logos and colours
- QR code with text: choose Text under the code to print the URL, the encoded text or your own caption below each code, in both PNG and SVG.
- Logo: upload a PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP logo and it is placed in the centre on a clean pad. Error correction is raised to H automatically, which lets the code survive the covered area.
- Colours: any foreground and background colour. The tool warns you when contrast is too low or the code is inverted (light on dark), since many phone scanners cannot read those.
- Size and quiet zone: from 128 to 2,048 pixels, with an adjustable white border. Keep at least 2 modules of quiet zone, 4 is the standard.
- PNG or SVG: PNG for screens, documents and labels. SVG is vector, so it stays sharp at any print size, from business cards to banners.
Error correction levels
| Level | Recovers | Use for |
| L | about 7% | Clean screens, the smallest codes |
| M | about 15% | Most uses (default) |
| Q | about 25% | Printed labels that may get scuffed |
| H | about 30% | Codes with a logo, outdoor print |

QR code types
Wi-Fi, vCard, email, SMS and map QR codes
Besides URLs and plain text, the generator builds the special formats phones recognise:
- Wi-Fi QR code generator: enter the network name, password and security type. Guests scan and join without typing the password. Hidden networks are supported.
- vCard: name, company, job title, phone, email, website and address. Scanning offers to save the contact, ideal for business cards and name badges.
- Email: opens a new email with the address, subject and body filled in.
- SMS and phone: start a text message or a call to your number.
- Map location: latitude and longitude that open in the phone's maps app.
Printing tips
Before you print a batch
- Test first: scan a few codes with two different phones before printing hundreds.
- Size: print codes at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide for close scanning. As a rule, the scanning distance is about ten times the code width.
- Keep URLs short: shorter content means fewer modules and an easier scan. Add tracking with the UTM builder but keep parameter names short.
- Use the print sheet: download the printable HTML sheet for a quick grid of all codes with their captions, then print or save as PDF.
- Use SVG for professional print so the printer can scale without blurring.
Need many URLs to encode? Generate clean page addresses with the URL slug generator, or unique ticket IDs with the UUID generator.
FAQ
Bulk QR Code Generator: frequently asked questions
How do I generate QR codes in bulk?
Paste one URL or text per line in the Bulk list tab, choose PNG or SVG, and click Generate and download ZIP. Each line becomes its own QR code image in the ZIP.
Can I create QR codes from an Excel file?
Yes. Arrange three columns in Excel (filename, content, caption), save or copy them as CSV, and paste into the From CSV / Excel tab. Each row becomes one QR code named after the filename column.
Is this bulk QR code generator free?
Yes. It is free with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it. Each batch can contain up to 500 codes.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the content is encoded directly in the image, so they work forever and do not depend on our website.
Can I add text under the QR code?
Yes. Set Text under the code to show the encoded URL or text, or your own caption from the CSV.
Can I put my logo in the QR code?
Yes. Upload a logo and it is placed in the centre. Error correction is automatically set to H so the code still scans.
How do I make a Wi-Fi QR code?
Open the Wi-Fi tab, enter the network name, password and security type, and generate. Phones that scan it can join the network without typing the password.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG works everywhere and is best for screens and documents. SVG is a vector format that stays sharp at any size, so it is best for professional printing.
